Nicole Gluzman

Nicole Gluzman is a second year student in the Bachelor of Commerce program at the Sprott School of Business. She is concentrating in Accounting and participates in a research program where she works alongside a Professor to gain exposure in Sustainability Accounting.

Nicole’s passion for community involvement is evident through her engagement with various clubs and opportunities on campus. She is currently part of the DECA executive team as a Co-Director of Events and the Tamid Group as a Project Manager for her consulting team. Through her involvement, she gained extensive case cracking experience from workshops and events where she ranked 3rd place in the Entrepreneurship Operations category at DECA’s International Case Competition in 2021.

Nicole’s keen interest in entrepreneurship and innovation has led her to join the Innovation Challenge at Carleton. With her partner, she will learn how to create plausible solutions that will have a positive social impact, while aiding with one of the Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN.

Nicole plans to continue being an active member in her community and work towards her CPA designation.

Maya Mcilhinney

Maya McIlhinney is a first-year student at Sprott School of Business, and she is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce. She plans to do a double concentration in Accounting and International Business. McIlhinney has been exposed to the world of work through certain private organizations, such as the Kanata Music Academy and Bishop Hamilton Montessori School. As well, she has done non-paid work in her co-op and volunteering in Girl Guides.
While developing her interests in the business world, McIlhinney is enthusiastic to gain hands-on opportunities and exposure to real-life problems at the Sprott School of Business. Her long-term goals are to eventually gain her CPA designation and to create a positive, safe work environment.

Gabrielle Kolotinsky

Gabrielle Kolotinsky is in her final year of her Bachelor of Commerce at the Sprott School of Business where she studies Finance and Economics. She has held roles in both private and public organizations including Deloitte, the Bank of Canada, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada and the Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada.

Kolotinsky is very passionate about integrating ESG and impact initiatives in the workplace, and has pursued several volunteer initiatives in order to do so. Ultimately, she hopes to engage industry strategically and work towards a more equitable business landscape.

Imran Kassam

Born and raised in Guelph, Ontario, Imran is a fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce student concentrating in Accounting.

Imran has been with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) for just over 1 year, and will be starting a winter co-op placement with a local firm in Ottawa.

Imran has gained extensive case experience in his high school where he participated in DECA and placed top 10 in regionals, and is now a part of DECA U where he placed 3rd in Canada in 2020 while representing Sprott. Imran has been highly engaged in the university community through his involvement in the Sprott Accounting Students Association as the VP Manager, and in DECA as the Director of Delegate Development.

In his spare time, he enjoys being active and loves listening to music. He plans to pursue CPA designation and build a career in the public accounting sector.
