Eligibility
Participation in ROCA is by invitation. Teams should only complete this form and pay the registration fee if they have confirmed their participation with the competition organizers. To verify that your team is a confirmed participant, please visit our list of participating teams.
Fees
The registration fee for ROCA 2025 is C$2,550 per team (approximately €1,650). This fee:
- includes applicable sales tax (VAT; referred to as HST in Canada)
- covers local transportation, social events, and almost all meals for 4 student competitors + 1 coach
- does not cover costs associated with travel to Ottawa or accommodation at the competition hotel
Additional coaches are welcome to attend for an additional fee of C$550 (approximately €350) per person.
Mode of Payment
Our preferred mode of payment is major credit card (Visa, MasterCard) via Carleton University’s secure e-commerce platform.
We can also accept payment via international wire transfer.

You will be redirected to a page on the Carleton University website. Please complete the form, then click on ‘Step 2: Payment’. This will send you to a page confirming your registration. After 5 seconds, you will then be sent to a credit card payment form.
If you wish to pay by wire transfer, ignore the credit card payment form and send us an email indicating your school’s preference for wire transfer. We will send you an invoice and instructions on how to complete the transfer.
If you wish to pay by credit card (preferred), you will be able to do so after completing the registration form. The payment form will look like this:
