The student team 2021

Bijan Faghfouri

I am a 4th-year student and currently following the Honors International Business & Management studies at Rotterdam Business School. I would describe myself as eager, ambitious and open-minded, however, always focused on finding solutions for tomorrow’s problems.
Besides my academics, I enjoy sports such as kitesurfing, diving and kickboxing. Further hobbies of mine are reading, cooking and educating myself.
I am looking forward to a great and fair competition, may the best team win!

Ilse Stokman

I’m a 4th-year Business Administration student. I am also an Honours student participating in the All Stars programme, which focuses on Case Competitions.
I am very driven to learn new things and to improve myself. My interests are reading, having a good time with friends and cooking.

Michiel van den Hurk

I am a fourth-year business administration student at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and currently, I participate in the All Stars programme. which is focused on solving cases within a team, which I see as an opportunity to develop myself.
Besides school, I like to spend my time with friends and create nice memories with them, and if I am not with my friends you can probably find me watching/ playing football (not soccer😉). Along with that my goal is to see 50% of all the countries in the world, currently, I am only 7% so I still have a long way to go…

 Ioana Vidican

I am a fourth-year student of International Business and Management at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. I was born and raised in the beautiful country of Romania which enables me to understand countries with economies in course of development and the impact a highly hierarchical culture has over society as a whole. During my bachelor’s program, I found subjects that required communication, interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence the most interesting. My personal interest in psychology and behaviour made me create links between new trends appearing on the market and marketing tools that can help companies shape perceptions. Case-solving is a great opportunity to develop skills that are required in the business world of “tomorrow” and as a person interested in a challenge, I see this environment as the best to continue my personal and professional development.
